The origin of Dutch Pantry Family Restaurants was actually the fresh foods and salads prepared by Lottie Kembering on their family farm back in 1917. In 1945 she partnered with her son Jess who ran a small salad dressing business and they opened their first restaurant in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Clearfield Dutch Pantry has carried on the tradition of good food and customer service for 45 years.
